While party favors aren’t really decorations, they were too cute not to share! Each child got their own kite to put together and fly. Had it been windier at the party, we would have flown kites at the party! Along with the kites were CDs of the birthday girls favorite songs from the movie.
The centerpiece of the food table was the BEST! They already had a Parrot Head Mary Poppins umbrella (from the Disney Store) which they hung from the ceiling. A Mary Poppins hat and carpet bag were displayed on the table along with a Penguin stuffed animal and “Mary Poppins” spelled out with kids blocks.
The birthday girls had an adorable Mary Poppins shirt that mom made with iron on transfer paper! The silhouette of Mary on the front had a real read ribbon pinned to it! On the back was a great Mary quote with a picture of Mary herself.
The last little touch to the party was the Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious banner on the back of the hay ride! It was tied together with the same ribbon that was on the Mary tshirt.
