This “Must Have Monday” list is ever changing. When we went to WDW back in 2011, I made a playlist for the ride. Since then, my son has aged a little, interests have changed, new songs have been acquired and “Big E” has joined the family! So, depending on our moods, interests and ages, this list is ever changing.
So, for today, April 29, 2013, these are our favorite Disney (and non Disney songs that make us think of Disney) for our playlist. My plan is to actually listen to this playlist on our way to WDW… this fall maybe?!?!

Believe it or not, we only have 6 more days until Christmas. So, in helping count down the days left until we celebrate, I’m going to count down one thing a day that I LOVE about Christmas at Walt Disney World.
Last year, I had the chance to see all the Gingerbread “stuff” around the property for the first time! It was incredible! Our first day at WDW we did not go into a park. Instead, we spent the late afternoon and evening resort hopping. We had our own car so we first made our way to the Polynesian where we parked, walked through the resort and hopped on the Monorail. We got off at the Grand Floridian and Contemporary to see the decorations including the Gingerbread House and the Gingerbread Tree. After making our Monorail Loop, we jumped in the car and headed to the Beach Club where we saw the Gingerbread Carousel. Later in the week as we were exploring the American Adventure at Epcot, we found a small(er) Gingerbread House inside the Liberty Inn Restaurant.

So, since we can’t be at WDW this year for Christmas, we decided to make our own Gingerbread Men in honor of all the fabulous Gingerbread “Stuff” at WDW!

A much easier and more colorful way to do it on the right! 🙂
Then, he tore the bread apart and gave me part of it and said, “You are Abu!”
Then it hit me… he was “reenacting” the scene from Aladdin when they stole the bread and shared it in the ally!
It’s moments like this that make me so happy that I’ve instilled the love of Disney in my son! A day doesn’t go by without a reference to WDW, Mickey, Disney or something along those lines. 🙂
