Archives for January 2013
The park stayed open until 2:00am. Majority of the group stayed til the park shut down. I, on the other hand, headed back to Pop after Wishes! I was so tired already and knew I had a 10+ hour drive ahead of me.
This was a fabulous, whirlwind trip! I LOVED seeing my happy place with my youth and sharing that love with them. However, it would have been so much better had I not been 32 weeks pregnant! I spent quite a bit of time sitting on benches instead of running through the parks riding all the thrill rides.
Maybe one day (sooner than later) I’ll get to take my youth back! 🙂
Welcome to those of you joining me from Disney Living and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 3rd stop on our Magical Blogorail.
When I heard the topic for this month’s blogorail loop my mind started racing! I was running through all 4 parks in my mind thinking of all the ride vehicles. So many wonderful vehicles came to mind: Jungle Cruise, Tower of Terror, Dinosaur, Spaceship Earth and more. I had such a hard time narrowing it down to ONE favorite! Really, just one? It couldn’t be done. So I’m happy to present several of my favorite Walt Disney World Ride Vehicles.
The best ride vehicle to get wet: Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom. Our family is usually the type that skips the wet rides. The boys have to really beg to get us on a water ride! We don’t like walking around in wet, squishy shoes and we don’t like having to lug around dry clothes to change in to. But, we love Splash Mountain and the entertainment it provides. So, we will ride Splash Mountain and cross our fingers that we don’t get soaked! Usually we get wet, but not soaked, so it’s OK!
Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is Walt Disney World: Not Just For Kids.
Here is the map of our Magical Blogorail should you happen to have to make a stop along the way and want to reboard:
2013. It’s already been a crazy year and we’re only 23 days in! I had high hopes for this year being the year to get my blog in order. I still need to update my banner across the top to read “Mom of 3 boys…”. Thanks to my twitter friend David (@david4242) for the reminders! I also want to change the look/ feel of my blog. It needs to be cleaned up some and I have an endless list of posts I want to write! At least I still have 342 days to accomplish these things before the year is over.
So, what’s been going on in these 23 days that has me so behind? I’m glad you asked! 😉 My middle boy, C-man, turned 4 and his Woody/ Toy Story party is this weekend. I’m trying to get ahead in my job so I’m not always doing things last minute. I’m now a mom of 3 boys instead of 2… and the baby, Big E, has been dealing with a double ear infection, a cold and bronchiolitis. And to top it all off, my former boss/ pastor murdered his wife, shot his daughter and stabbed himself. That’s been weighing very heavy on my heart and mind and I just haven’t felt like blogging much.
In my home state of Alabama the poverty and hunger rates are WAYYYY to high. It makes my heart hurt to think about it.
